Welcome to San Diego Rowing Club Junior Rowing!


SDRC Junior program is dedicated to promoting youth rowing in San Diego.  Rowers compete regionally and nationally and our rowers are recruited by the finest colleges in the country. Learn to row in our Fall and Spring programs in the nation's best weather on beautiful Mission Bay - or try our Summer Camps.

  • The SDRC Women's Varsity Pair came home from Youth Nationals with a silver medal!
  • The SDRC Varsity Women have qualified 2 boats for Youth Nationals! The varsity pair and quad both earned berths by coming in first and second respectively at Southwest Regionals.

2017 Spring Season Info!

  • Practice resumes as normal on Monday, January 2nd.

  • 2017 San Diego Indoor Classic will be held at the boathouse on Saturday, January 28th.

Results

  • SDRC came home from the Faultline Faceoff Regatta with 14 medals overall (3 Gold, 4 Silver, 7 Bronze) after a busy weekend of racing! Congrats to all athletes who competed
  • SDRC earned an impressive 31 medals (7 gold, 9 silver, 15 bronze) over a day of racing at the Long Beach Christmas Regatta!
  • Great results from the San Diego Fall Classic! SDRC came home with 9 medals total in a busy morning of racing. 4 gold, 4 silver, 1 bronze
  • The varsity men's quad takes 1st place at the Head of the American! Women's four takes second and both the men's and women's eights take 4th place overall!
  • The women's youth 4+ finished 3rd out of 85 boats and the men's youth 8+ finished 10th out of 84 boats at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston!
  • SDRC W2- finishes 2nd in the country, M2- finishes 6th, and W4x- finishes 10th! 
  • SDRC came home with 3 medals from Southwest Regionals! The women's varsity pair earned gold, the women's varsity quad earned silver, and the men's novice coxed quad earned bronze. The pair and quad also qualified to race at Youth Nationals in New Jersey in June!
