Middle School Program Info
Our co-ed middle school squad is open to 6th - 8th graders who are interested in learning a new sport! Our middle school program focuses on teaching proper fundamentals, preparing for the competitive high school program, and having fun on the water. No experience is necessary. Our middle school squad may have the opportunity to compete at local regattas, but will not compete at the level that our racing team does.
We have two practice groups- one that practices Monday and Wednesday and another that practices Tuesday and Thursday. Practices are 4:15-6:15 pm for both groups.
8th graders who are interested in rowing competitively can choose to join the novice team. 8th graders who aren't sure about competing at this time, or those who can't commit to the full-time practice schedule are welcome to join the middle school squad!
